This is the sun as it appeared on April 21, 2021:

Sunspot AR 2816 is at the bottom, center of the image. This sunspot erupted on April 19, producing an M1 class solar flare, producing a CME that did not affect earth. This flare is the strongest so far of the new Solar Cycle 25.
