This is the sun as it appeared during the eclipse of June 10, 2021, as seen from the Canary Islands:

There are two interesting features in this image:

  • The moon, blocking part of the sun at the upper right. This image was taken during the June 10, 2021 eclipse; however, totality was only visible from North America and Europe and partially visible from the Canary Islands
  • Sunspot AR 2832 near the bottom left of the image, to the left of the Slooh logo

It was cloudy during the observation so this is one of the only cloud-free frames from June 10, 2021.
