This is an image from the moment of the peak eclipse of the lunar eclipse of November 19. 2021 :
The moon appears red because the sunlight that is reflected from it is passing through Earth’s atmosphere. The bright sliver on the left was actually very small – the moon was eclipsed 97% but the camera picked up the brighter pixels on the left.
The Pleiades star cluster is above the moon, slightly to the right and there’s a cloud slightly to the left of the moon. The sky was a little cloudy when I started observing the eclipse at 3:30 am but the clouds moved out of the way just in time for 4:03 am – the time of the peak eclipse.
I took this image using my phone at ISO 800 and exposure time of 1/25 sec.
